Anyway, here’s the deal. I had a horrible, horrible period of writer’s block. But it’s getting better. So this is what we’re going to do. We’re going to all work together to write. I’ve made a Twitter account for us so we can also post prompts/ideas/word counts there and you can tweet to us about your writing progress/questions/whatever.

Prompt 36

Why, in your opinion, are we so interested in survival shows/books/etc.? Generally, we live very pampered lives (or at least most tumblr people do, I’m assuming, since they’re on the internet browsing through this site instead of, like, doing work). What is it about survival situations that draw us in, when we don’t really intend to go out and try it for ourselves? Or even if we do want to, why don’t we? 

Your character has had a grueling day at work and comes home to find the front door wide open.

I suggest that you check out Script Frenzy (scriptfrenzy.org, from the creators of NaNoWriMo) and have a go at it. It’s not as difficult as NaNo, but it’s a good writing exercise. New writing format. And it just started today! So goooo~ And if you would like to add me, I’m ZenMuffin on there.

Oh my God guys hello life is insane. I think perhaps we’ll update bi-weekly instead of trying to update every day, because that’s actually rather difficult. What days sound good?

Write about traits that your character has inherited from their parents and how they view them. Do they despise the traits because they make them like their parents? Do they not pay much attention to these traits? Wot? 

I deserve to be shot in the face twice for ignoring you guys so long, but things have been crazy and now I have a week-long theatre competition to go to. I leave later today for it. If I have internet, I will try to update (no promise, though, I might be dead of pixie stix overdose). In any case, I hope to bring back a superior with my pantomime and I will do it for you loverlies! >:0

Your character is travelling. They’ve somehow ended up in the wrong place and gotten themselves completely lost. They need to find shelter and food pretty quickly, but, unfortunately, they do not speak the language. This is going to be difficult.
